Hidden Super Mario in BotW!

Most Nintendo Switch owners picked up the latest game in the Legend of Zelda series, the Breath of the Wild. It’s a fantastic game with an expansive world map, and most players leave no stone left un-turned (hey, there might be a Korok hiding under there!).

But a new discovery has Nintendo fans buzzing – a hidden Super Mario easter egg has been found in the topography! If you carefully view the zoomed in map, you can find Super Mario’s head!

Here are the official rules posted on our event page:

Triforce Heroes Tournament Rules

StreetPass Long Island will be hosting a Triforce Heroes Tournament for Nintendo 3DS systems! Here’s what you need to know:

– This game supports Download Play, so you do not need to own a copy of the game! But you do need to bring your Nintendo 3DS system to the event to participate.
– This is a TEAM game, so you will be set up with two more players to play cooperatively on a specific stage.
– If you happen to have two friends that you want to team up with, that’s no problem! Just let us know at registration.
– Winning team will have the highest score at the end of the stage. The score is a combination of your remaining fairies and how many rupees your team collected on the stage.

Tournament Ruleset:
– Stage: Woodlands – Buzz Blob Cave
– Outfit Restriction: Hero’s Tunic ONLY!
– Time Limit: Not set, but teams taking an inordinate amount of time may be disqualified.

Note: Triforce Heroes Tournament Rules are subject to change. See tournament organizers for full details at the event.

New Targets for the Zelda Archery Event!

SPLI has been hard at work planning the upcoming Legend of Zelda Archery Competition – Second Quest! event coming up Wednesday, November 19th at 7:30 PM. (For pricing, location details and to RSVP, please visit the event page!)

One thing we wanted to upgrade this year are the targets. We want to really test the skills of our members, so we incorporated an actual archery target into each of the Hyrule Warriors Enemy and Villain targets, making scoring a little easier and the skill level a little harder! This is the SECOND quest, after all!

WizzroTargetToday we are releasing a teaser target – Wizzro. This is just one of the options that will be available to shoot at the Legend of Zelda Archery Competition – Second Quest! We will be printing these out and everyone will be able to take home their target at the end of the night! The three highest scores will also receive a small Perler bead prize!

And of course, we will also we doing a trick shot with an eShop giftcard as a prize. But this will be no ordinary trick shot – this year we’ll have you going totally cuckoo for Cuccoo’s!

Be sure to RSVP today and reserve your spot in the Legend of Zelda Archery Competition – Second Quest! If you’re as excited about it as we are, tell your friends and use the hashtag #ZeldaArchery if you post about it on Twitter! See everyone on 11/19/14!

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Concert

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert was held at the famous Greek Theater in Los Angeles.

In conclusion, here is some videos we recorded at the concert.  Sorry for the shaky/blurry footage, but it’s really just about the music right?  The audio isn’t really fantastic either… guess you’ll just have to go see the Symphony for yourself to get the full experience!  🙂

This music is from the Spirit Tracks segment of the Symphony.

This music is from the Wind Waker segment of the Symphony.

We hope you enjoyed our E3 Coverage!
