Welcome to StreetPass Long Island!

Our mission is to provide Long Island residents (and anyone else who wants to join us) a safe place to make friends, play games and get more StreetPasses! No more commuting all the way to the city – we plan local events around Long Island so we can still have fun, but closer to home!

3DS is for everyone. We want this group to be a resource for gamers of all ages, young and old. This means that we might have some younger players too. We require that everyone posting on the StreetPass Long Island Group to treat each other with mutual respect. Please refrain from excessive cursing, or posting anything with adult language, content and/or images.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A GENERAL GAMING GROUP.  THIS IS A NINTENDO STREETPASS GROUP.  EXCESSIVE POSTING ABOUT OTHER GAMING CONSOLES AND GAME TITLES IS PROHIBITED.  YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE WARNING AND IF YOU ARE A REPEAT OFFENDER YOU WILL BE BANNED.

(There are plenty of other Facebook Groups out there which are dedicated to general gaming and non-Nintendo consoles.  Please join a different group if that is all you are interested in discussing.)

Anyone who posts anything sexist targeted toward female gamers, or anyone in general, will be banned. 

In fact, ANY SEXUAL HARRASSMENT TOWARDS ANY GENDER IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!  Anyone found guilty of this behavior in StreetPass Long Island will be banned immediately.  We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on this.

StreetPass Long Island is committed to protecting Nintendo’s Intellectual Property.  Anyone found posting, promoting or offering the sale (for monetary value) of copyrighted Nintendo products on StreetPass Long Island’s Facebook Page, Facebook Group or Official Website will have their post removed immediately.  This also includes any digitally distributed IP’s. Repeat offenders will be warned and banned if necessary.

A written warning will be issued for excessive bad language, followed by banning if it continues. All harassers will be banned immediately.

• Anyone who starts a flame war will be warned once, and then banned.
• No trolling.
• We encourage you to be opinionated, but anyone seen maliciously targeting a specific PERSON or GROUP will be banned!
• Member posts on the SPLI Group or Fan Page are subject to deletion without warning, if deemed necessary by an SPLI Admin.
• Excessive posting on our group (specifically those who post about things that are NOT related to Nintendo games) is prohibited.  Doing so can result in either having the post deleted, or the member being banned from the group.
• Posting unrelated sales advertisements is strictly prohibited.
