SPLI “Mystery Gift” Series: Happy Holidays!
To celebrate the holidays this year, SPLI is offering a free “Mystery Gift” to all interested members. There is a “Mystery Gift” with a Chanukah theme and a Christmas theme.
SPLI’s Shiny Chanukah Menorah Chandelure will be available starting the first night of Chanukah 12/8/2012 and will be distributed by wifi trade with SPLI admins.
To obtain your SPLI “Mystery Gift” please follow the steps below. Please note that you MUST be a member of the SPLI Forums in order to gain access to the SPLI Chat Room, which is required to obtain your “Mystery Gift.” Also note that you do NOT have to live on Long Island to join our SPLI Forums!

2012 SPLI 3DS AWARDS!
Welcome to the 2012 SPLI 3DS AWARDS! We have decided to host the nomination and voting phases entirely on our Forums in an effort to give everyone a voice, keep things organized and get more people on the Forums!
Nominations Phase is currently OPEN from 12/4 – 12/10. Visit The Nominations Boards to enter our Forums and post your nominations for the best games of 2012.
Voting Phase will be open from 12/17 – 12/31. Please visit The Voting Boards during this time to enter our Forums and vote on the nominees. (Note: The Voting section of the Forums is currently not active, please only visit this section during the dates posted to particicpate.)

What You Missed: Brawl it Out – APEX Edition
Last weekend, StreetPass Long Island held our first official Meet Up Event! It was called Brawl it Out – APEX Edition, and was held as a weekend-long event from Saturday Nov. 24 to Sunday Nov. 25. We held the event at a comic book store called The Arena, located in West Babylon, NY.
On Saturday we held three separate Brawl Tournaments, including SSBB Singles and Doubles, as well as a Project M Tournament to end the evening.
We had a great turnout and the battles were heated to say the least! Everyone showed off their skills and the victors were awarded cash prizes. Good luck to everyone who will be continuing their battles at APEX 2013!
On Sunday we held a Pokemon Black and White Doubles Tournament. The turnout was a little smaller but the competition was just as fierce! We had a variety of age and experience levels at the Pokemon Tournament, which makes for a much more interesting battle atmosphere!
The winner of the Pokemon Tournament won a cash prize and a Pokemon Prize Pack from Comic Con! Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to everyone who participated! We also had a nice turnout of spectators for both events, and we had a lot of fun just playing 3DS games and getting StreetPasses too.

Shy Guy Event: Wii U Launch in Baldwin
Come join the Co-Founders of SPLI as they wait in line at the Best Buy in Baldwin, NY on Sunday, November 18th. We plan on being there EXTREMELY early in the morning to ensure that our preorders for the new Wii U console will be fulfilled. Please feel free to stop by and get a StreetPass from us!
